New York state tax officials have settled their case against Derek Jeter.
The New York Daily News says the case has been settled.
Terms of the settlement aren't being disclosed.
NY officials claimed Jeter maintained a residence in Manhattan and should have been taxed as a state resident from 2001 to 2003. Jeter said he was a Florida resident and didn't owe New York taxes.
A judge said it was up to the state to prove that Tampa was no longer Jeter's home.
