ADRIAN "El Duquecito" HERNANDEZ


The once highly touted brother of Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez is now pitching for Vaqueros Laguna of the Mexican League.


Hernandez made his major league debut with the Yankees on April 21, 2001. He appeared in 6 games (starting 3) in 2001 going 0-3.


In 2002 he went 0-1 in 2 games (1 start). He then spent the rest of the 2002 and all of 2003 in the minors.


On October 15, 2003 he was released and granted free agency then signed by the Brewers in
January 2004.


He was 0-2 in 6 games (1 start) making his final appearance in the major leagues on May 8, 2004, spending the rest of the season in the minors.


Henandez was released by the Brewers on October 15, 2004.
