Ian Kennedy and Edwar Ramirez have been named this year's top minor league starter and reliever by milb.com, the official Website of Minor League Baseball.
The Minor League Pitchers of the Year might now be done with the minor leagues altogether.
Ramirez struck out 102 batters in 56 innings between Double-A and Triple-A. He had a 4-0 record and a 0.79 combined ERA.
"We thought maybe he can help us in Double-A (this season)," farm director Mark Newman told milb.com. "We sorely underestimated what he was capable of. The numbers he put up are hard to believe."
Kennedy was a first-round draft pick last year, and had a 2.08 Triple-A ERA before being called up to New York.
