This is not sour grapes about Jeter not winning it. Morneau had a great season too.
This voting process sucks.
How do Jeter and Morneau get ANY 4th place votes? Jeter had 1, Morneau 2.
SOMEONE ACTUALLY VOTED 6th PLACE FOR JETER!
Anyone who voted less than 2nd for either should have their vote taken away.
The BBWA should be embarrassed.
MLB needs to scrap the current voting system and start new.

Morneau deserved 4th place overall at best. He wasn't even MVP of his own team.

I think 7 of the 8 finishers had awesome years - in my book you have to an everyday player to a vote for MVP which is why Santana does not belong.
Those that vote have to realize that the MVP is more than HRs and RBIs.
