Today's NY Post is reporting that Derek Jeter and Minnesota's Justin Morneau will share the AL MVP award as Co-MVP's
If this happens, the whole MVP voting process needs to be reevaluated.
Co-MVP's stink!
NYYU Contributor "The I-Man" says:
That is simply "We can't allow a Yankee to enjoy accolades inspite of the fact that he was statistically the best player in the AL this year so we'll split it with someone on a suck-job team kinda of like revenue sharing. We can't allow Yankees success because it's bad for baseball."
I agree "I". The BBWA will do anything they can to avoid giving a Yankee an award if they can help it.

The writer from Chicago that had Jeter 6th is just an anti-Yankee biased media head.
Hard to argue with much of those that were finalists - I think Jeter should have gotten it, or Mauer.
