Jeter was robbed!
I know what the rules say, averege 3.1 AB' s per game, but lets get real here.
Joe Mauer "beat" Derek Jeter by .004 according to MLB.COM.
Lets not forget that Jeter had 102 MORE at bats than Mauer and 33 MORE hits than Mauer.
Jeter also beat Mauer in Runs Scored, Doubles, HR, RBI and Total Bases.
If this sounds like sour grapes, then it is!
Now lets see if the Baseball Writers Association will vote Jeter the MVP. They don't like to vote for Yankees unless its overwhelmingly obvious.
