Heard on WFAN today. Yankee beat reporter Sweeny Murti on the air with mid-day host Joe Benigno. Sweeny reports that Cashman and Sheffield had a closed door meeting. After the meeting Sheffield says that Cashman told him that he would be very surprised if the Yankees did not pick up his 2007 $13 million option.
