Bobby Meacham was hired as the new Marlins 3rd base coach by manager Joe Girardi. Meacham, 45, spent last season as a minor league instructor in the Rockies system. Previously he managed in the Pirates organization.
Hensley 'Bam Bam' Meulens is the hitting coach for Class AAA Indianapolis, the Pirates top minor league affiliate.
