Enough with the excuses, the catcher, the pitching coach and mechanics. The fans have tolerated quite a bit from you, but damaging your pitching hand is over the top.
And even though money is no object, I hope the Yankees make you pay for the damage you did to Mr. Steinbrenner's stadium at the same time his family laid him to rest.
You can appologize all you want to the team and the fans, but you have exposed yourself to a very observant fan base. This is not Miami or Toronto.
Yankees fans have seen this act from many others.
Your best course of action right now is to shut up and pitch.
