There is a 1927 World Series Yankees 14k Gold/ Diamond Ring for sale on
EBAY.
It can be yours for a mere $65,000.
The seller claims it is authentic, but does not say how the ring came into their possession.
I'd like to know how the seller obtained it before I purchased it.

Not just the players get rings, everyone employed in the organization gets one; from owners down to ball boys. Balfour would have made the rings, they would have records to verify # and names inside the ring to chekc legit or knockoff.
Would all those people get rings back in 1927? Remember ball clubs didn't like spending money back then.
I still wonder how this seller obtained the ring in the first place.
