It's official: Willie Randolph will not be returning to the Yankees in 2009. The Milwaukee Brewers hired Randolph as Ken Macha's bench coach on Saturday.
"I'm excited, looking forward to this next challenge and getting to work, I love teaching and I'm passionate about being in the game," Randolph said.
Randolph played in 124 games for the Brewers in 1991, hitting .327, 0 Hr and 54 RBI.
