A Vermont man put his 50-year-long loyalty to the New York Yankees up for sale on ebay.
Final bidding was Tuesday and the winner was Will Forest's very own senior league baseball team out of Montpelier.
They bid $300 for his old jacket and the chance to pick who he will root for now.
The team hasn't decided what team that should be yet the money will go to an animal rescue charity.

Born and raised just shy of a small Central Vermont village, I wonder how that man ever was a yankee fan living in vermont, he must have been a transplant.
My vote is he'll switch over to the Redsox... he'll surely bond better with his vermont neighbors. *lol
