Can he pitch?
It wouldn't take much for Bobby Abreu to pitch better than Little Eunice or Jaret "Last" Wright. I like Abreu but the Yankees don't need an OFer. They need pitchers! Abreu doesn't prevent or change todays debacle. The Yankees need pitching. When Sidney Ponson is your best option, and you are thinking OFer...its time to regroup and refocus.
Cory Lidle, Jon Lieber, Roberto Hernández and Salomón Torres are on the Yank radar.
Lieber would be a good pick up, the others are status quo.
