Last night was a perfect example of what my problem with Mussina. He can't pitch with a lead.
I know his numbers were good last night, but looking a little deeper into the line score shows what I mean.
Top 3rd, Yanks score 1. Bottom 3rd he gives up 2.
Top 6th, Yanks score 1. Bottom 6th, he gives up 1.
This was his pattern last year. I bring it up today and I will track this.

Johnson wins 15. Mussina wins 12. Wong wins 11..., the rest is who's who's of wannabees. No doubt the greatest closer of all time but that middle relief is going to piss off a lot of people. A 90 win team - 95 tops - a fight to the finish.
