REVENUE SHARING SNAG FOR A-ROD

The holdup in the finalization of "A"'s new deal is that they are waiting for the lawyers clarify language concerning how Rodriguez would benefit financially from him breaking the all-time home run record.

"Milestone" clauses aren't allowed in MLB contracts.

The Yankees and "A" are attempting to construct a revenue sharing type deal since the Yankees will make a ton of money off the event.

The "A"- deal could reach as high as $30 million and push the total value of the contract beyond the $300 million mark with the plan.
